What are you putting off because you’re following YOUR oughta-pilot? Don’t just chase a dream. Create a plan with me and live it!

My earliest entrepreneurial memory was sitting in my parents' call office (they had a laundry and drycleaners overseas), at my miniature desk selling doll clothes I had made with foam coat hanger pads and staples.  You could get a "couture gown" for $1! I did pretty well, too, but hey, I was a cutie back then.  Who could resist this face?

From there it was Girl Scout cookies as a Brownie, making and selling cat toys from the pads left when the tickets used to mark the clothes were used up (these were stapled pads of paper about 1/2" by 1", frill the edges and tie with a piece of string) 50 cents each and I was launched!

Years later when I found myself a single mother, working on a secretary's pay, I turned to my sales abilities to make ends meet and discovered the world of direct sales -- Dynique, Herbalife and Tupperware. Oh, and let’s not forget Amway!

For the next 18 years I was in survival mode; doing whatever it took to pay the bills. The concept of enjoying life was not one I was
familiar with any longer.  My daughter grew, and was in Middle School when I met Dan McBride and Ken Lutz who taught me to be a sales trainer.  I had found my true love - standing in front of a room offering tips and tricks to solve problems and get salespeople excited about what they did, how they did it and why they would keep on doing it!  Thank you Dan, wherever you are!

Never hesitant to reinvent myself, I became a Respiratory Therapist at 37 and worked on a Trauma Team for 4 years until I was injured and unable to work in that field. What could I do?

That was when I met Alec Sherman who introduced me to the world of custom programmed telecommunications and commercial graphic design.

But the biggest change happened when I woke up one morning and declared that I was through doing what I was "supposed to" and it was time to do what I loved and what made life worth living.  I thought about my options and created this, my current incarnation as a business trainer and facilitator. I did what I have advised so many of my clients to do - I disconnected my “oughta-pilot”.

I specialize in creating relationships and in creating something from nothing. Let's talk about what we can do to create your dream.

I have actual hands-on experience in almost every field you can think of - from Agribusiness to Zen Studio design. Together we can map out a path for you to pursue your treasured dreams and perhaps having made a lot of mistakes along the same paths, I can offer a little advice to you.
